Bardac® LF Product Range

Bardac® LF is synergistic with oxidizing biocides and prevents algae growth, lowering the need for halogens. Bardac® LF is compatible with anionic scale and corrosion inhibitors, which can result in a decrease of operating costs.  Bardac® LF is water soluble and is not a dermal sensitizer.

Bardac® LF has low-foaming tendency compared to other ADBAC-based products.  Low-foam is an advantage in recirculating cooling systems.

Bardac® 22 Product Range

The Bardac® 22 product category shows a broad spectrum of activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and is also effective on fungi and viruses, including those that are enveloped. Showing a high tolerance to hard water (above 350ppm), it remains active in the presence of heavy organic soiling. Its impressive surfactant and wetting properties make it one of the multipurpose biocides of choice for cooling systems.

This Bardac® 22 products display synergistic effects in combination with aldehydes and complexing agents, such as EDTA, but is incompatible with anionic detergents. It is registered in a large number of countries for water treatment applications.

  • Contains solution of Dialkyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride (DDAC)

Barquat® 42 Product Range

 
Barquat™ 42 is a blend of ADBAC and ADEBAC Quats. It can be used as an active ingredient in various formulations to control microbial growth. This quaternary ammonium compound delivers potent germicidal action, even in heavy organic soil loads.

Barquat® CB Product Range

Barquat® CB is a ADBAC Quat blend with broad spectrum activity. It is effective a microbiocide, however are less effective as an algaecide and fungicide. Carbon chains (being centered in particular on C12 and C14) offer an interesting profile as a bactericide due to the adsorption of its cationic radical on the anionic bacterial cell surface, leading to the disorganization of the cytoplasmic membrane.

  • Available in  50% and 80% concentrations

Barquat® DM Product Range

The Barquat® DM range is an ADBAC Quat blend that acts as an effective algaecide and biocide. A well-defined carbon chain distribution makes Barquat® DM products effective for biological corrosion control and for sulphate-reducing bacteria in water systems.

Barquat® MB Product Range

When used as an active ingredient in water treatment formulations, Barquat® MB products have been found to provide effective biocidal action against a broad spectrum of microbial organisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses and algae. This “first” generation ADBAC Quat delivers potent germicidal action in cooling water applications.

Barquat® 1552

Barquat® 1552 is a blend of ADBAC and DMBAC Quats that can be used in a variety of water treatment applications. When used as an active ingredient in a formulation for water treatment applications, this product is effective as a broad-spectrum biocide against microbial organisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses and algae.

Carboshield® 1000E

Carboshield® 1000E is a blend of didecyl dimethyl ammonium carbonate and didecyl dimethyl ammonium bicarbonate. Unlike traditional chloride quaternaries, this non-chloride quaternary provides excellent corrosion inhibition properties on steel, aluminum, iron, brass and copper.

It can be used as a cationic surfactant, a thin film forming corrosion inhibitor or a wetting/dispersion agent. It is hard-water tolerant and requires little or no additional sequestering agents for effective performance. Carboshield® 1000E is compatible with numerous nonionic surfactants.

  • Amenable to aqueous (freshwater and seawater) and non-aqueous systems
  • Exhibits effective inhibition properties for steel, aluminum, iron, brass and copper
  • To be dosed via metering pumps

Lonzabac® BG/Vantocil® IB

These products can be used alone or in combination with other biocides to create products for a wide range of disinfection applications. They are broad-spectrum, fast-acting bactericides that can be used in various formulations for disinfectants and sanitizers. They can be used for industrial, institutional, agricultural and food & beverage water treatment applications.

These products are a 20% aqueous solution of poly (hexamethylene biguanide) hydrochloride, also known as PHMB. The combination of the different modes of biocidal action reduces the risk of bacterial resistance, and the products are effective in a wide range of industrial disinfection applications.

  • Application areas include dairies, milking parlors, poultry hatcheries, food processing plants, breweries, pasteurizers in canned food and beverage bottling plants, air-conditioning units, and beer glass cleaners

Isocil® Product Range

Isocil® products are a blend of Isothiazolinones and composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-thiazoline-3-ketone (CMIT) and 2-methyl-4-thiazoline-3-ketone (MIT).

The bactericidal effect of Isothiazolinones is carried out through breaking the bond between the bacteria and algae protein. The product can be used in many industrial applications to inhibit microbes’ growth, and it has inhibition and biocidal effects on ordinary bacteria, fungi and algae.

 Isocil® products are fully compatible with cationic, anionic and nonionic surfactants and with a variety of raw materials.
