Carboshield® 1000E​

Carboshield® 1000E is a blend of didecyl dimethyl ammonium carbonate and didecyl dimethyl ammonium bicarbonate. Unlike traditional chloride quaternaries, this non-chloride quaternary provides excellent corrosion inhibition properties on steel, aluminum, iron, brass and copper.

It can be used as a cationic surfactant, a thin film forming corrosion inhibitor or a wetting/dispersion agent. It is hard-water tolerant and requires little or no additional sequestering agents for effective performance. Carboshield® 1000E is compatible with numerous nonionic surfactants.

  • Amenable to aqueous (freshwater and seawater) and non-aqueous systems
  • Exhibits effective inhibition properties for steel, aluminum, iron, brass and copper
  • To be dosed via metering pumps

Scientific™ C20V

A solid concentrate that is a proprietary water treatment for stressed conditions and one that utilizes modern anti-scaling, anti-fouling, and corrosion inhibitor technology. A scale dispersant and corrosion inhibitor, the Scientific™ C20V product works together with conventional chemistry to help provide protection to the system at low product dosage rates. Blended with a fluorescent dye, it allows for online tracking and monitoring with probes and controllers.  

  • Application: Cooling Tower water systems
  • To be used in conjunction with Scientific™ Ultra-S Dissolving Unit 
  • Solid chemistry with no potential to leak when compared to liquid alternatives
  • Lower transport and storage costs when compared to liquid alternatives
  • At 20ppm, one case of product is equivalent to 220kg of a conventional liquid product
  • Increase in cycles, aiding in improved efficiency and water consumption

Scientific™ C22V

The Scientific™ C22V product is a proprietary water treatment for corrosive conditions. A solid concentrate, it utilizes modern anti-scaling, anti-fouling, and corrosion inhibitor technology. It inhibits ferrous metal corrosion utilizing both cathodic and anodic protection, and copper corrosion inhibitors. Blended with a fluorescent dye, it allows for online tracking and monitoring with probes and controllers.

  • Application: Cooling Tower water systems
  • To be used in conjunction with Scientific™ Ultra-S Dissolving Unit
  • Solid chemistry with no potential to leak when compared to liquid alternatives

Scientific™ CMO-C

A molybdate corrosion inhibitor, the Scientific™ CMO-C is designed for use in closed water systems. It is a blended solid concentrate used as a stand-alone treatment containing no nitrites.

Scientific™ CPEN-C

The Scientific™ CPEN-C product is a solid concentrate that is a general dispersant for cooling systems and assists in the prevention and removal of organic materials and foulants. It is designed to help maintain clean surfaces in heat transfer equipment and cooling towers, in addition to cooling system inhibitors/dispersants and biocides. It also serves as a general corrosion inhibitor and cleaner for heavily fouled systems.  

  • Application: Industrial; can be used for cooling systems   
  • To be dosed manually

  • To assist in maintaining a clean system as well as to aid in the elimination of bacteria and algae, use in conjunction with biocides
